Brendan Harris: Innovators Awards 2024

Harris serves in several leadership positions at UPMC Insurance Services, which is owned and operated by Pittsburgh-based UPMC and which serves nearly 4.5 million members. In addition to his roles at the state programs and UPMC for You, he is also vice president of Community HealthChoices, a program providing long-term services and supports to more than 132,000 dually eligible or disabled Pennsylvanians. In 2022, Harris spearheaded efforts to open a neighborhood center in Pittsburgh. The center, which has served more than 5,000 people since it opened, offers virtual health, workforce development programs, a food pantry and other services to members of the community.
